Candidates for the GCNL Available Board Seat

The United Nations Global Compact Network Lebanon (UNGCNL) is proud to present you the following two candidates who submitted their nominations for the GCNL Available Board Seat.

The elections will be taking place during the General Assembly that will be held on the 30th of September, 2021 from 3:00 PM till 4:00 PM (Beirut time).

Mr. Maher Ezzeddine

Maher Ezzeddine is the Chief Executive Director of Ideanco since 1999, an idea innovator company with offices in New York, Calgary, Dubai, Beirut, and London and representative offices in over 40 cities.

Ideanco is a disruptive idea innovator with a transformative business model and over over 49,000 outsourced talented people focusing on providing transformational strategy and creating value for both private and public sectors with a particular highlight on aerospace and climate change, defense, and education.

Mr. Ezzeddine, a Harvard Alum, has been involved with his aerospace team in consulting aerospace and satellites projects for over a decade, which has evolved his exploration way of thinking from regional to a global level. Mr. Ezzeddine is also the Chairman of Harvard Aerospace and Defense Alumni Organization at Harvard University, a global organization focusing on Aerospace and Defense.

Mrs. Zeina Abou Zelof

Zeina Abou Zelof carries a 14 years of intensive experience in managerial positions within the SABISĀ® community. Ms. Abou Zelof acquires an educational background in Psychology and Project Management, along with an extensive experience in educational administration, international sectors, and NGOs.

Abou Zelof’s routine work includes organizing and executing fundraising projects, planning seminars and workshops, managing awareness campaigns, organizing community service projects, establishing marketing campaigns, organizing leadership abroad trips, providing academic support programs, recruiting high school students for job fairs, linking generations through organizing reunions and gala dinners for the alumni, supporting students with scholarships, engaging high school students and alumni in social responsibility events, organizing and participating in green projects and sustainability initiatives, in addition to initiating, planning, budgeting, and following up on local and regional events.
