Companies are able to take advantage of the UN Global Compact’s global-local structure, teams will have the opportunity to work with and learn from other young professional teams and leading sustainability and innovation thinkers in their country and across the world.
On October 8, Programs Manager of Global Compact Network Lebanon (GCNL) Ms. Bruna Elias hosted the first YSIP Kick-off Workshop where different teams met to discuss and align their expectations of the program.
Ms. Elias emphasized and clarified the different characters and roles of each of the following: Innovators, Champions, and Mentors. She also explained the flow of the entire program and accordingly answered all inquiries that were raised.
The session was inaugurated by GCNL President Mrs. Dima Jamali and this was followed by a video message from the CEO & Executive Director of the UN Global Compact Ms. Lise Kingo.
In general, the floor was available for Innovators, Champions, and Mentors to introduce themselves, as facilitated by GCNL Executive Director Mrs. Dina Harake.
Eventually, this kick-off session enabled the participating teams to capitalize on an introductory and clarification session that helps them deliver optimal results at the end date of the YSIP Program.
