YSIP Offboarding Innovation Camp

This workshop is only open for YSIP innovators, champions, and mentors. If you wish to participate in the upcoming 2020 Young SDG Innovators Program (YSIP) please contact Programs Manager Ms. Bruna Elias.

We have reached our fifth camp already! During this phase, our innovators are prepared to take the learnings, skills, and projects developed in the program into the reality of their organizations. A key outcome of this camp is solutions showcasing as the innovators will pitch their solutions to the senior management of their companies. The two-day online workshop will focus on how to apply breakthrough thinking within organizations and what the participants can do as intrapreneurs to foster a culture of innovation in their companies.

In this regard, the main themes for the Offboarding camp will revolve around:

  1. Negotiating a Space for Innovation: Guest speakers will discuss how Innovators can build connections with key stakeholders and how to navigate their corporate environment to be an agent of change even within the most rigid structures.
  2. Making the Case – Storytelling: The key to a successful pitch is being able to tell a good story. This interactive session will offer guidance for Innovators on how to develop skills and strategies to frame and communicate their ideas in compelling and authentic ways.
  3. Managing Resilience: Guest speakers will share insights into innovation best practices and common traits from successful innovative organizations.
