Ayadina Association

Ayadina Association

Founded in the year 2004, Ayadina Association is a non-profit non-governmental organization working in the field of social development and focusing on children and senior citizens. Ayadina offers an arts education program for children and youth. This unique program addresses social problems by offering the children the means to express their emotions and to develop their personalities and talents. We at Ayadina believe in the important role of art in addressing psychological, social, and familial problems, and its role in bringing up a generation of youth who believe in their capacities and talents. Ayadina works in the Nabaa – Sin El Fil area, offering art lessons for children in return for a symbolic amount of money. As for the seniors, Ayadina welcomes a group of local seniors several times per week, offering them warm meals and some social and physical activities. The added value of these gatherings is the social interaction between the seniors who often live in loneliness and social isolation in light of their age and economic situation. The workers and volunteers of Ayadina come together to create a safe and positive environment for both children and seniors.
