Since 2004, Capital Concept has established itself as a leader in shareholder activism, advancement of Corporate Governance (CG) and advisement of companies and regulators in the MENA region on their corporate governance practices. 

Our unique approach and passion towards nation building led to a partnership with USAID and TIF, in which we created the Lebanon ESG Stewardship Program in February, 2022. Our proprietary methodologies were acclaimed during the Geneva UN Business and Human Rights Congress in December 2018 for their unique approach to investor and stakeholder protection. These methodologies will assist 100 Lebanese companies on their ESG assessment and certification journeys, contributing to a more robust and responsible corporate sphere. 

Implementing ESG criteria is the most effective way that businesses can grow and preserve value. By stepping up to the challenges of our society, businesses can become more innovative, ethical, responsible and ingenious – all of which contributes to nation building. It is through ESG certification that the Lebanese private sector has the capacity to realize a more prosperous and resilient Lebanon.
