Wellspring Learning Community

Wellspring Learning Community

The name ‘Wellspring’ comes from an Arabic word that means “the source” which connects our mission to the idea of continuous learning throughout one’s life.

Wellspring Learning Community, founded in 2007, has gathered together a diverse team of both local and international educators who believe in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programmes and share the same philosophy.

Wellspring offers a challenging learning environment where students are always at the center of their learning. The Mathaf and City Center Campuses offer students from three years old until Grade 12 graduation IB driven student inquiry, relevant learning, global connections to real life issues, service to the community and open mindedness as corner stones to their lifelong journey of learning.

Wellspring Learning Community aims to establish an inquiry-based learning environment in which students from diverse backgrounds are given every opportunity to realize their social, emotional and academic capacities and talents.

Throughout their school years at WLC, our students participate in four types of service (direct, indirect, advocacy and research) through participating in service experiences in different subject fields targeting the 17 SDGs.

Our students will become confident, resourceful, creative, caring, responsible and thinking citizens prepared to use their education to contribute in meaningful ways towards improving society, both locally and internationally.
